Overall Speciation Table-

The 'overall speciation' table is actually a pair of tables giving the negative log of the concentrations of free metals and ligands, and metal-ligand complexes.  They differ in that the first table expresses the concentration of complexes as the total concentration of each metal complexed with a given ligand, while the second gives the total concentration of each ligand complexed by a given metal.  This dichotomy is necessary to accommodate the stoichiometry of complexes with multiple metal (M) or ligand L) moieties, such as M2L or ML3.  For metal-ligand pairs that only form 1:1 complexes, the values in the two tables are identical.
